Info Post

This is my latest submission as a sportswriter/contributor for the International Business Times SportsNet.

In this article, I have discussed how the phenomenal 16 year old Chinese swimmer, Ye Shiwen was hounded by speculations and accusations of doping after winning the 400m medley in a very stunning fashion.

Some of the comments on her performances say “Impossible!” and “Insanely fast!”

Shiwen cruised to a world-record time of 4 minutes and 28.43 seconds; a clear five seconds aheas of her own personal best to surpass other swimmers for the topmost honors. And this morning, she added up to China's gold medal tally by winning the 200m individual medley.

These phenomenal performances by Shiwen have open up old issues about doping, especially among the members of the Chinese women's swimming team.

When queried upon this doping issue, the 16 year old sensation answered with an 'absolutely not' response. She added rather despondently, "In other countries, other swimmers have won multiple golds and nobody has said anything,”.
